Google and the Beanstalk ... How a Small Publisher sues Google Adsense and Wins!

by AdamD Apr 20, 2009 9:17 AM

As most know, Google became a "giant" very quickly.  It branched from a search engine, to other services, these including its online advertising networks - Adsense for publishers and Adwords for businesses

Adsense has quickly grown due to the fact that small businesses have embraced it and gave it a ride to the top.  Now that it is at the top, Google has been turning it's back on them.  Based on Internet chatter, Google is shutting down more and more accounts and not making payouts for those publishers earnings.  At the end of the month, after it has made 30 days of earnings.

And these publishers are mad.  Nobody likes to be used.  And I can't say I blame them.  I have always liked the search engine, but as for it's other services, always thought of Google as being secretive and sneaky.

The sad thing is that Google used these small businesses to build its gigantic network (which makes up a large percent of it's annual revenue), giving them a sucessful business model, huge credibility with big businesses, and the top market share for online advertising.  Now they have that, they care less and less about the littly guy.

But we all know that from the fairy tale Jack and Beanstalk, and the biblic story of David and Goliath, that the giant nevers wins!  And the bigger the giant the harder they fall.

Here is the tale of how one publisher stood up to the giant Google and won!  I think that this is the start of the giant's fall.  And more and more people should use this story as an example to take action against Google or any other giant that tries to beat you down...
